Can the battery life of the JR-1000 be extended?

The battery should last for more than 5 years under normal use. Using the logger at extreme high and low operating temperature ranges (around -40°C and 85°C) may decrease the battery life.

What is the warranty on the JR-1000?

The logger is guaranteed for 3 years and its battery has a 5 year warranty.

What is the resolution of the JR-1000?

8-bit (1 part in 256), 0.4°C @ 25°C (0.7°F@77°F)

What do we mean by 8-bit logger?

8-bit means one part in 256. For example, if the temperature range of the logger is 125°C (from -40°C to 85°C), each byte count is almost equivalent to 125 / 256 = 0.4°C.

Can I program the sampling start time on the JR-1000?
